Apple Puree
A classic puree for the early stages of introducing solids, apple puree is (almost) always a hit with babies!

Suitable from 6 months, or whenever your baby starts solids
Ingredients
4 Granny Smith Apples (other varieties of apple can also be used but may not puree as well)
Method
1. Peel and quarter apples, remove core and cut each quarter into thick slices
2. Place in a saucepan with ¼ cup water. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until very soft
3. Blend in a food processor or using a stick blender until smooth
