Ricotta and Pear for Baby
Ricotta is a protein and calcium-rich but low-sodium cheese that is great for babies and toddlers.
The addition of pear and cinnamon adds some delicious sweetness and a little spice to help expand your baby’s palate and introduce them to new flavours.

Ingredients
2 pears
150 g full fat ricotta
1 pinch cinnamon
Method
1. Peel, core and roughly chop pears
2. Place pears in a small saucepan and cook, covered, over low heat for 10-15 minutes or until very soft. If pears are beginning to catch on bottom of the saucepan, add a little water. Alternatively, cover and microwave on high for 4 minutes
3. Drain off excess liquid and mash, then stir through ricotta and cinnamon. Blend if required.
